Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CountTheTime ("the Service"), operated by Blunderstone LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service & Operational Timing Modes

CountTheTime provides digital countdown, count-up, auto-flip, and periodic interval timing solutions across web, animated email GIF, OBS streaming overlay, and iframe embed distribution channels.

You agree to use timing displays in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

3. User Accounts & Fair Use Quotas

Visitors may explore, configure, and preview timers without registration. Saving, persisting, and sharing unique timer URLs requires creating an account authenticated via our identity provider (Clerk).

Each tier is subject to active published timer quotas (e.g., Free: 1 active timer, Personal: up to 5, Creator: up to 15, Business: up to 50). Scripted bulk timer generation or abusive automation is strictly prohibited.

4. Commercial Subscriptions & Billing

Paid subscription plans (Personal, Creator, Business) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer billing portal.

Upon cancellation, paid features and elevated timer quotas remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Platform Branding

Free tier timer views, email GIFs, and OBS overlays include a subtle CountTheTime branding attribution. Paid tiers grant entitlements to remove platform branding and configure custom outbound call-to-action destination links.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Blunderstone LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

7. Pre-Release Beta Software Disclosure (Alpha, Beta & Previews)

From time to time, CountTheTime may designate certain deployments, preview features, or the Service as a whole as an "alpha", "beta", "preview", "canary", or other pre-release version (as identified in the service version displayed in the site footer, release notes, or platform documentation). To the extent that you access or use any pre-release version of the Service, the provisions of this Section govern your use.

Pre-release versions are provided strictly on an "AS-IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis for testing, evaluation, and feedback purposes. Features, interfaces, user experiences, timer quotas, display fidelity, and third-party integrations in pre-release versions are subject to rapid iterative updates, enhancements, or deprecation without prior notice. Periodic maintenance, brief service interruptions, or temporary edge degradation may occur during active testing cohorts.

By participating in early access or using any pre-release version, you acknowledge and agree that Blunderstone LLC disclaims all warranties regarding continuous uninterrupted uptime, data persistence guarantees beyond our standard backup procedures, or error-free operation during the pre-release testing period.
